“Katie is fantastic! She consulted with us several times on the phone and over Zoom in the months leading up to our wedding and really helped us think through each stage of the day’s events (pre-ceremony, ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, etc). She was intimately familiar with our venue and met with us on site for a walkthrough of all the important areas so we could plan the layout of our tables and décor in a way that made sense. She helped us build a “day of” timeline and followed up with our vendors so everyone knew when and where to show up. Katie came to our rehearsal the day before, helped us set up the day of, and was one of the last to leave that night after ensuring that everything had been cleaned up. “Having Katie as our planner for our wedding was the best decision we ever made. First, she helped us with all the decision making during the pandemic which was obviously a huge undertaking. In addition, we were planning our wedding from a different state which has its own complications and she was a lifesaver. She helped us pick out vendors and handled all communication with them including the venue (for 2 1/2 years!) flawlessly. She was also a very good communicator with us throughout the process. Katie was an incredible addition to the wedding especially during the unknown of the pandemic. Immediately after our first contact she stepped up with suggestions and was always putting me at ease. We were in shock when the lockdowns happened, but she immediately took control and made the necessary calls to all of our vendors about the postponement. Even with thunderstorms and a rain washout predicted for our wedding postponement date, she kept optimism. She is a behind the scenes ninja and I didn't realize most of the kinks happened until the wedding party joked about them the next day. She has amazing attention to detail and has fantastic stress deflection skills. Katie is worth every penny as a wedding coordinator or as we now joke "weather control extraordinaire". If you have a wedding coming up, then you should hire her immediately. You will not regret it
