Professional Journey
I have been working in the event industry for almost 10 years. After working first in a job where I organized non-profit events, I served as a production assistant with established wedding planners in the Charlottesville area to learn more about the wedding business. I enjoyed this so much that I took courses to become a Certified Wedding Planner through the Association of Bridal Consults. I then worked as the Event Manager at Montfair Resort Farm for three years, where I had the pleasure of working with countless couples as they moved from venue searching to celebrating their commitment to each other on their wedding day. In 2018 my husband and I welcomed our daughter, Anna, to our family, and I decided this was the perfect time to take a step forward and start my own wedding planning business. I have loved having the opportunity to be a part of so many different types of weddings throughout the years, and I look forward to working with all clients to help them realize their vision.
More About me
I met my husband 10 years ago through mutual friends while skiing - still one of our favorite activities to do together. We enjoy being outdoors together skiing, hiking, camping and got married at Montfair Resort Farm in April of 2016. Since then we have welcomed our daughter, Anna, who is 3 and our son, Jack, who is 1 to our family. We love living on the family farm that my husband grew up on and so do our kids. They get to go out daily to “help” move the cows which is normally the highlight of their day. When I have free time I love to craft, visit local breweries/cideries, or walk with friends.
